MY WORK
I work intuitively in an abstract and improvisatory way, taking landscape as a starting point for a journey that leads beyond the physical world into a more contemplative realm. The titles of my paintings offer associations while allowing for personal interpretation.
Using oil or acrylic, I build up layers of sensuous surfaces and radiant colour of varying opacity to offer a glimpse of a dimension outside time - a vision that is holistic and celebratory.
